Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan

South State Street, Between Hill Street and Packard Street

Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020


Location and Limits of Affected Area:

South State Street, between Hill Street and Packard Street.


Description of Work:

The City of Ann Arbor, along with its contractor, will be installing a new water line on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020. Weather permitting, this closure will be in place for one day.


Temporary Traffic Control Plan:

South State Street will be closed between Hill and Packard streets. Northbound State Street will be detoured east on Hill Street then north on South State Street. Southbound State Street will be detoured west on Madison Street south on Thompson Street then east on Packard Street.


Pedestrian access to residences and businesses will be maintained. Emergency vehicles will need to follow detour.


For the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the detour route. Thank you in advance for your patience.
