Elizabeth Nelson's City Council Blog

I write a City Council newsletter with my summary of agenda items coming before City Council.

Sign up to receive it first via email, or read it here later on this blog. I also post my perspectives on how issues were resolved, and charts of how Council voted at each meeting. I post Ward 4 road construction news under "Construction", and other news that affects Ward 4 residents under the category "Ward 4 News". News that affects all city residents is posted under "City News".

Mid-Block Crosswalk Survey open until Jan 27th

The following was issued by Eli Cooper, Project Manager (ecooper@a2gov.org) on Jan 13, 2020:

As we continue to gather feedback from the community, we wanted to let you know about a new survey regarding mid-block crosswalks. A mid-block crosswalk is a crosswalk that in not at an intersection. We want to know how comfortable people feel using marked mid-block crosswalks, both as a pedestrian and as a driver. We are also seeking community input to identify potential additional crosswalk locations. Please take a moment to fill out this brief survey to share your experiences as a pedestrian and/or driver in Ann Arbor. When completed, please share the survey with friends and family who might be interested in contributing.

The survey is open until Jan 27, 2020:
