I write a City Council newsletter with my summary of agenda items coming before City Council. Sign up to receive it first via email, or read it here later on this blog.
I post charts of how Council voted after each meeting, and also post my perspectives on how issues were resolved. I post news that affects Ward 4 residents tagged with "Ward 4 News", with construction updates also tagged "Construction 2021". News that affects all city residents is tagged with "City News".

Description of Work:

The city’s contractor, Lanzo Trenchless Technologies North, will be closing streets for sanitary sewer lining work necessary to maintain a high-level sewer trunkline. Work will take place primarily between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays.

Temporary Traffic Control Plan:

Beginning at 9 AM Monday, Oct. 26, 2020  eastbound traffic intending to travel on the streets noted above will be detoured north on Main Street and southeast on Packard Street. Westbound traffic intending to go through this area would need to go northwest on Packard Street and south on Main Street. While through traffic will be detoured, access for local traffic will be maintained.

Emergency vehicles should follow the detours. During construction, the contractor will maintain pedestrian traffic and detour it as required.

For the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the detour route. The city thanks motorists in advance for their patience.
